Historic Home in Crystal Lake, Illinois

SERVPRO of Barrington/North Schaumburg was brought in to assist in the restoration of this historic home in Crystal Lake, IL. The home had been vacant for a number of years and suffered significant water damage throughout as well as mold and other damage. We performed demolition, cleaning and reconstruction work on the home in conjunction with several other trades and crafts people. The after photos show what is now the master bedroom in the home. The after photo is the restored room with the newly constructed walk in closet. The after photo is the room after drywall installation and taping. The drywall will have a textured plaster veneer installed over it and the openings above the doors will be filled with Luxfer Prism glass windows trimmed and stained to match the window and door trim. The floor will be quarter sawn white oak.
